Thanks must to the wonderful team on the stand - Maureen, Shirley, Shirley, Brenda, Judi and Janis. Chatting about mosaics is fun but by the end of the day, the feet are a bit sore and we are slightly worn out - but it's so good for the mosaic soul.
From exhibiting the MAANZ touring Insect 30x 30 Vision exhibition, encouraging people to toss money in the dunny for Starlight Grant a wish campaign, smashing wine bottles for spin the bottle mosaic tesserae, making more segments for the Steve Irwin mural....we are busy!
Lots of people keen to know about MAANZ and the 2009 conference! Lots of newbies loving the 3-D mosaic art and of course the mesh method.
Scoring glass and tile excites so many and is so addictive. Pictures coming soon. Two days left at the Craft Fair and then it's mosaic mosaic mosaic to finish the Karalee mural during May!
I can't wait.
